The Airport Zurich Noise Fund (AZNF) is an instrument for refinancing the costs related to aircraft noise.

Operating under a concession licence from the federal government, Zurich Airport Ltd. has the right to refinance all costs incurred in connection with flight operations through charges.

The intended purpose of the money raised by the Airport of Zurich Noise Fund and the members of the AZNF committee are defined in the corresponding regulations. Income and expenses of the AZNF are reported on a voluntary basis in the Annual Report of Zurich Airport Ltd. in order to ensure the transparent use of funds.
