The official start of training is preceded by an introductory week. Discovery tours will acquaint you with Zurich Airport and its training activities. Joint activities with fellow apprentices, senior staff and trainers will make embarking on your apprenticeship easier. The valuable specialist expertise that you will gain from various workshops is the ideal preparation for your apprenticeship.

Our vocational and practical trainers will give you the competent personal support you need. Cooperation is based on mutual trust and respect. Our family-like learning and work environment is unique. We practise a culture in which encounters among equals are a matter of course, and the same is true of our understanding of performance and development: we focus on the individual strengths of our apprentices out of conviction.

We organise exciting projects and cool events – the apprentice camp, for example – to strengthen our community, to get to know each other better and to learn from each other. With apprentices in all professions and at all stages of their training, we support communities or projects with our resources: build or renovate barbecue areas, playgrounds, sports fields, hiking trails – and much more. We cook together, and sometimes we spend the night in the open air.  We conclude these projects with a joint final event.

We conduct a mock final apprenticeship examination so that you can develop a feeling for it, and also close any gaps in your knowledge in good time (QP = qualification process). You can also watch our QP preparation video. A major event will be held to celebrate the successful completion of your apprenticeship. Your parents and trainers will be invited.

We turn today's apprentices into tomorrow's employees. If you are motivated and willing to work hard, and you successfully complete the qualification process, we will offer you a temporary position for up to 12 months – or even a permanent position. If you wish, we will also be happy to advise and support you with individual job coaching for your further development outside our company.
