Birthday Special «15 years Observation Deck B»

From February to December 2026, you will receive free entrance to the Observation Deck B on the 15th of each month!
Experience exciting airport moments up close – and as an added highlight, flight operations will be commented on live between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Free entrance for all grandparents

Grandparents' Day focuses on bringing generations together and sharing experiences. We want to celebrate this day and are offering free entrance to the Observation Deck B for all grandparents accompanied by their grandchildren on Sunday, 8 March 2026. 
Discover the fascinating world of airport operations, watch aeroplanes take off and land up close, and enjoy special moments that will delight young and old alike.

Enjoy the start of spring together with Rolli Rollkoffer and the Easter Bunny. They will be on the Observation Deck B on Easter Sunday from 14:00 to 16:00, handing out sweet surprises. Spin the wheel of fortune and, with a little luck, win a voucher for face painting on site! Regular entrance fees apply for the Observation Deck B.

On the weekend of 25 -26 April 2026 the Federal Customs Office will be offering exciting insights into its work on the Observation Deck B. On both days, service dogs will be demonstrating their skills on site with live commentary.

Would you like to find out more about a career as a customs and border security specialist? Information events will be held on Saturday and Sunday in the visitor room.

Beaming faces and sparkling eyes: mascot Rolli Rollkoffer and his airport friends will be on the Observation Deck B from 14:00 to 16:00. AAS – Owly, Bernie & Lexi from SWISS, Giancarlo and Eli from Edelweiss and our Rolli Rollkoffer are looking forward to saying hello to lots of children and their families on Mascot Day and taking photos together.

In addition, the Guarda clown troupe will be making a short stopover on the viewing terrace from 14:30.30 to 4.00 p.m. These smile-inducing artists will have lots of funny ideas in their luggage.

Many bird species are not only at home in the sky, but also use the meadows and forests around the airport as their habitat. Discover which bird species nest here and what challenges flight operations pose for them. The Zurich Airport rangers will be on hand to answer questions on the spectator terrace.

On Mother's Day, all women enjoy free admission to the spectator terrace.

Take a look behind the scenes of Zurich Airport's professional fire brigade and paramedics and gain exciting insights into the everyday life of the rescue organisation.

On Sunday, 7 June, all men will receive free admission to the spectator terrace B on the occasion of Father's Day.

«Sauvage OFF» at Zurich Airport: 20 June 2026

In 2026, the rave event hosted by Sauvage will once again be hosted at Zurich Airport. On 20 June 2026, the party series will take over what is probably the most spectacular terrace in Zurich. The Zurich-based label, known for locations such as Halle 622, the Kunsthaus, Gessnerallee, and Werft Wollishofen, stands for events of the highest calibre.

The event is only taking place under good weather conditions. Alternative date is 4 July 2026.

Ranger Talk

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., rangers will offer exciting insights into nature at Zurich Airport. What animals and plants live a Zurich Airport? The rangers will be on hand to answer your questions.
