16 May 2026 - Flying without fear - for children

How does an aircraft stay in the air? Why are turbulence bumps perfectly normal? And why is flying safer today than ever before?

Children (and the grown-ups with them) can get answers to all these questions live on site from Captain Tom – a real airline pilot and fear-of-flying coach. In a playful, age-appropriate way, he explains how flying works and helps even the youngest passengers feel at ease in the air.

Date: Saturday, 16 May 2026, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Location:       Observation Deck B

Tom Schneider has been flying for 25 years and is currently a Captain and Instructor on the Airbus A320 and A350. He leads fear-of-flying seminars and, with his book “Flying Made Easy for Kids,” inspires curiosity, confidence, and excitement about aviation from an early age.

The next fear-of-flying seminar for children will take place on June 28, 2026. Save your spot here.
