Circle Quartierfest 2023: Activities for young and old
On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 May, the Circle at Zurich Airport will host the third Circle Neighbourhood Festival. From alpaca trekking and an indoor games area to food trucks, live music and behind-the-scenes looks - visitors can look forward to a varied program of festivities for the whole family.
The neighborhood festival offers the perfect opportunity to get to know the Circle and its park better. On both days, there are attractions and specials to discover in the stores and restaurants in the Circle. Quartierfest runs from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. both days.
During the Circle tours, guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at what was once Switzerland's largest high-rise construction project. Those who want to learn more about the hotel industry in the Circle can take part in one of the tours of the Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle and the Hyatt Place Zurich Airport The Circle. At Zurzach Care, visitors can get active themselves and take part in a back training session. The tours are free of charge, registration takes place directly on site.
Activites for young and old
There is also a lot to experience in the Circle Park this weekend. Like last year, alpacas will be visiting again. On both afternoons, a walk with the good-natured four-legged friends will take place on the hour from 12:00 to 17:00. Those who want to learn more about the flora and fauna at Zurich Airport can take part in one of the free guided ranger tours. The youngest guests can also look forward to a children's carousel, a bungee trampoline, the airport mascot Rolli Rollkoffer and an amusement arcade. Free children's face painting will take place in the .now store each afternoon.
Culinary Journey around the world
The restaurants and bars in the Circle offer the opportunity to experience their offerings in a new way during the Quartierfest. Whether heart-shaped pizza on Mother's Day at L'Oro di Napoli, grilled sausages on the main square at Leon's Loft, or Japanese delicacies in a special ambience at Negishi - there is something for every taste. In addition, various food trucks with specialties from all over the world await visitors at Südplatz.
Live Music
The musical program is also sure to set the mood: the band Since 11 can be found on the main square from 11:00 to 15:00 on both days, and The Murphys from 15:00 to 19:00 on each day. Orchestra fans among the visitors can also look forward to a very special performance: on Sunday, May 14, starting at 10:30 a.m., the spring concert of the Zurich Airport Orchestra will take place in Departure Hall 2.
