Traffic figures 
1’829’107 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in April (+465.4% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 428.3% and transfer passengers increased by 664.7%. The transfer rate, which was at 17.9% last April is at 24.1% in the month under review. 
The monthly comparison shows that passenger numbers are at 66.1% of 2019 level.

Air traffic movements 
In April, air traffic movements increased by 163.7% to 17’853 versus previous year. 
The monthly comparison shows that air traffic movements are at 76.7% of 2019 level.

Traffic ratios 
The average seat load factor saw an increase of 27.4 percentage points to 74.7% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 122.5 (81.3 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in April was CHF 41.6m (+155.5% vs previous year). The increase divides into 366.5% for airside and 71.8% for landside.
