Traffic figures 
981’835 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in February (+409.9% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 350.5% and transfer passengers increased by 761.6%. The transfer rate, which was at 15.3% last February is at 25.6% in the month under review. 
The monthly comparison shows that passenger numbers are at 48.3% of 2019 level.

Air traffic movements 
In February, air traffic movements increased by 145.0% to 11’566 versus previous year. The monthly comparison shows that air traffic movements are at 58.7% of 2019 level.

Traffic ratios 
The average seat load factor saw an increase of 21.5 percentage points to 66.9% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 110.9 (81.0 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in February was CHF 26.0m (+190.5% vs previous year). The increase divides into 429.4% for airside and 109.6% for landside.
