Traffic figures
287’767 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in January (-86.6% vs. previous year). Local passengers decreased by -84.5% and transfer passengers decreased by -91.6%. The transfer rate, which was at 31.1% last January is at 19.7% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In January, air traffic movements decreased by -73.0% to 5’553 versus previous year. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of -26.3 percentage points to 45.6% and the average passenger per movement figure decreased to 79.4 (121.4 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in January was CHF 10.8m (-74.9% vs. previous year). The decrease divides into -89.3% for airside and -57.1% for landside.
