Traffic Figures Zurich 

1,729,201 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in January (+92.5% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 91.4% and transfer passengers increased by 95.3%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.4% last January, is at 30.8% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 81.0% of the 2019 level.

In January, flight movements increased by 33.5% to 17,010 versus previous year. Flight movements were 78.5% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in January was CHF 41.0m (+61.9% vs previous year). The increase divides into 94.8% for airside and 38.1% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 416,817 at Florianópolis Airport (+16.2% vs. previous year)
• 290,978 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+19.9% vs. previous year)
• 199,346 at Antofagasta Airport (+10.0% vs. previous year)
• 164,124 at Iquique Airport (-0.1% vs. previous year)
