Traffic figures 
2’518’977 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in July (+84.7% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 73.5% and transfer passengers increased by 122.2%. The transfer rate, which was at 23.6% last July is at 28.4% in the month under review. 
The monthly comparison shows that passenger numbers are at 79.9% of 2019 level.

Air traffic movements 
In July, air traffic movements increased by 41.6% to 21’647 versus previous year.

Traffic ratios 
The average seat load factor saw an increase of 15.9 percentage points to 85.0% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 140.1 (116.6 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in July was CHF 54.1m (+56.3% vs previous year). The increase divides into 75.8% for airside and 36.0% for landside.
