Traffic figures
2’421’744 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in March (+1.2% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers remained unchanged, transfer passengers increased by 4.3%. The transfer rate which was at 30.1% last March is at 31.0% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In March, air traffic movement count was at 22’071 which is on the previous year level. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of 1.8 percentage points to 75.5% and the average passenger per movement figure decreased to 124.5 (124.7 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in March was CHF 46.0m (-5.2% vs. previous year). The decrease divides into -5.9% for airside and -4.3% for landside.


Please note:
There was a negative impact on the key figures because of late Easter holidays.
