Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,081,649 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in March (+57.8% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 48.9% and transfer passengers increased by 79.6%. The transfer rate, which was at 29.3% last March, is at 33.3% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 86.0% of the 2019 level.

In March, flight movements increased by 26.7% to 18,558 versus previous year. Flight movements were 84.1% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in March was CHF 44.7m (+36.5% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 49.7% for airside and 23.9% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 336,638 at Florianópolis Airport (+17.8% vs. previous year)
• 269,227 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+22.9% vs. previous year)
• 181,358 at Antofagasta Airport (+13.2% vs. previous year)
• 161,640 at Iquique Airport (+14.5% vs. previous year)
