Lydia Naef to become Chief Real Estate Officer at Flughafen Zürich AG
As of 1 September 2022, Lydia Naef will be the Chief Real Estate Officer and a member of the Management Board of Flughafen Zürich AG. She will take over from Daniel Scheifele, who has decided to take up a new professional challenge.
The Board of Directors of Flughafen Zürich AG has appointed Lydia Naef as the new Head of Real Estate and a member of the Management Board. In this role she will be responsible for all of the airport's properties throughout their life cycle: from the strategic planning through development and construction to commissioning. Lydia Naef has many years of experience in the field of real estate management. She has worked at Flughafen Zürich AG for over ten years. At present she is Head of Property & Portfolio Management and deputy to the current Head of Real Estate. In this capacity, she is responsible for the entire real estate portfolio and its development. Previously she worked at RESO Partners AG and Halter AG.
Lydia Naef is 40 years old, married and a mother. She has a university of applied sciences degree in business economics and holds an MBA in international real estate management.
Daniel Scheifele leaving Flughafen Zürich AG
After having worked for Flughafen Zürich AG for six years, Daniel Scheifele will leave the company at the end of August to take up a new challenge as CEO of Rapp AG. In addition to construction projects such as the development of the landside passenger zones or the expansion of the baggage sorting system, Daniel Scheifele was in charge of the construction and commissioning of the Circle and the acquisition of the Priora portfolio.
