Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,921,620 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in August (+18.3% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 18.0% and transfer passengers increased by 19.2%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.3% last August, is at 30.5% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 93.9% of the 2019 level.

In August, flight movements increased by 8.5% to 23,234 versus previous year. Flight movements were 92.0% of the 2019 level.
 

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in August was CHF 54.5m (+11.6% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 15.8% for airside and 6.3% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 324,753 at Florianópolis Airport (+20.8% vs. previous year)
• 337,982 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+25.9% vs. previous year)
• 197,628 at Antofagasta Airport (+24.1% vs. previous year)
• 153,630 at Iquique Airport (+3.3% vs. previous year)
