Traffic figures 
1’319’093 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in March (+478.4% vs. previous year). Local passengers increased by 411.3% and transfer passengers increased by 787.5%. The transfer rate, which was at 19.3% last March is at 29.3% in the month under review. 
The monthly comparison shows that passenger numbers are at 54.5% of 2019 level.

Air traffic movements 
In March, air traffic movements increased by 152.9% to 14’651 versus previous year. The monthly comparison shows that air traffic movements are at 66.4% of 2019 level.

Traffic ratios 
The average seat load factor saw an increase of 25.9 percentage points to 70.3% and the average passenger per movement figure increased to 116.2 (78.1 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in March was CHF 32.7m (+139.8% vs previous year). The increase divides into 371.2% for airside and 63.4% for landside.
