Border crossings at the airport
The alterations have created a new Schengen external border at Zurich Airport. Passport checks are performed here for all passengers crossing between Schengen and non-Schengen areas.
The Passport Control Hall is imbued with a plain, simple and neutral aesthetic. Clarity, transparency and tranquillity are the key elements of all architectural and functional components within the space.
