What we offer as a training company
Our automation specialists are experts in the planning, development, installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated systems at Zurich Airport - such as the baggage sorting system. Every day, this system processes over 50,000 items of baggage and transports them over a distance of up to 35 kilometres to the aircraft docks. In a varied and challenging working environment, the automation technicians' task is to ensure high availability of the baggage systems. The apprentices work with specialists to set up electrical controls or automation systems, put them into operation and carry out maintenance work. During their training, they rotate through various specialised departments in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the diverse airport systems.
