Construction work from October 30th until the end of March 2024
The baggage carousels at Check-in 1 at Zurich Airport have reached the end of their useful life and need to be replaced. In a first step, 23 carousels at the northern end of Check-in 1 will be replaced between 30th of October 2023 and March 2024. During the winter timetable 2024-25 the carousels at the southern end of the hall will be replaced.
This has an impact on the passengers for Swiss International Airlines, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Edelweiss Air, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines so as Vueling, Easy Jet and TAP Air Portugal.

Check-in for First, HON, Senator, Star Gold, Business guests and frequent travellers will take place in Check-in 1, South. You will find an additional Business Class counter in Check-in 3.
Economy and Premium Economy passengers should please use the counters in Check-in 3.
The check-in for PRM - Assistance, AVIH - Pet on Hold and UMNR - Unaccompained Children for all flight classes will take place in Check-in 1.
Same-day ticket office: A same-day ticket office is available from 10:00 until 18:00 in Check-in 3.

You bring someone to the Airport
If you are dropping off a passenger who is flying with Swiss, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Edelweiss, Brussels Airlines or Croatia Airlines, sufficient waiting positions are available at the end of the curbside lane. Departing passengers should make for the last entrance to Check-in 2 guiding people towards Check-in 3.
