Testing possibilities at the airport
Many destination countries currently require a negative corona test. Due to high demand, there may be waiting times at the testing centers at the airport. Please take care of this in advance. If possible, get tested the day before and come to the airport tested on the day of departure. The test centers are also available for people who need to show a negative Corona test in order to visit a restaurant, event or fitness center in Switzerland. Corona measures at Zurich Airport
In order to provide travellers, employees and visitors with the best possible protection against the coronavirus, Zurich Airport has implemented a range of hygiene and safety measures.
Based on a Federal Council directive, guests at restaurants and bars at Zurich Airport are required to show a Covid certificate (vaccinated, recovered). Excluded are all outdoor terraces, takeaways and restaurants in the transit area.
You need a Covid certificate to access most public facilities. You have a valid Covid certificate from the EU (EU-DCC)? This is valid in Switzerland. You have been vaccinated or recovered abroad and do not have an EU-DCC? Apply for a Swiss Covid certificate. You can find all the information here:
