Traffic figures
201’692 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in June (-93.0% vs. previous year). Local passengers decreased by -92.2% and transfer passengers decreased by -95.6%. The transfer rate, which was at 28.9% last June is at 18.7% in the month under review.

Air traffic movements
In June, air traffic movements decreased by -79.6% to 5’048 versus previous year. 

Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of -24.2 percentage points to 57.3% and the average passenger per movement figure decreased to 94.1 (134.4 previous year).

Commercial Activities 
Total turnover in June was CHF 11.4m (-79.0% vs. previous year). The decrease divides into -94.9% for airside and -55.1% for landside.

The start of the summer holidays in the catchment area of Zurich Airport will also lead to an increase in passenger numbers this year, albeit on a comparatively low level. On individual days, more than 25,000 passengers are expected to depart, arrive or transfer at Zurich Airport.
