Reservation
- You can reserve up to 6 months in advance.
- For guests without an arriving flight, there are only loungers in the rest area
available.

When making reservations by telephone or email, please provide us with the following information:
- Last names, first names
- Arrival and departure dates including times and flight numbers
- Type and duration of accommodation
Location and opening hours
The Transit Hotel is located next to Gates D, 1st floor at the non-Schengen area (no visa needed). The Transit Hotel’s reception is manned round the clock.
The boarding pass and security check are open until 22:30, and passport control until 23:00 and as of 5:30 (access possible only with a boarding card and only with hand luggage).
Please note that access to and from the Transit Hotel is not possible from the Schengen area between 23:00 and 5:30

Information for hotel guests from A to Z
Adapter, voltage
220V AC. EU and USB as well as partly USBC - sockets in the room and by the the sunbeds. At the reception we sell a small selection of adapters, USB/USBC - plugs and cables.
Baby food and bottles
We are happy to heat your children’s meals in our microwave. Baby and children’s things (pacifiers, baby bottles, spare cloths) are available for emergencies. Baby bed, baby care products and diapers can be obtained free of charge. We offer baby menus at standard prices.
Postal services
You can leave your mail at the reception, or you will find public post boxes at all gates. For paper and envelopes ask at reception.
Food and Beverage
We don’t serve meals. Sale of heatable ready meals at the reception. The tap water is drinking water. A wending machine with a small selection of snacks and drinks is located in the waiting area on the right in front of the Transit Hotel.
Fire
Please carefully read the information sheet behind the door of your room or in the drawer next to your couch.
Prayer Room
A prayer room is located next to the Transit Hotel. Books of the respective religions, prayer rugs, etc. are in the room or can be requested at reception.
Money change
ATM machines are located at all gates.

Hygienic Items / Travel Sets / Slipper / Bathrobe
Disposable toothbrush, disposable razors, ear plugs, blindfolds and extra towels are available at reception.
Toothpaste, comb, hairbrush, and slippers can be bought at the reception. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in each shower.
Travel sets with various care products in permitted travel size are available at reception for CHF 15.00.
On request, we will be happy to lend you a bathrobe for CHF 10.00 (also available for purchase for CHF 50.00)
Emergency exit and escapes routes
Obey the green emergency exit sings and follow the instructions of the staff in an emergency.
Smoking area
We are a nonsmoking airport and hotel. Smoking is only permitted in special smoking lounges, the next one is just outside of the Transit Hotel.
Special assistance
Need help getting to your gate? Please inform us in good time so that we can organize a caregiver.
Laundry, Ironing
Irons and ironing boards are available at the reception. For small defects we help you out with a needle and thread.
Wake-up call
Rooms: To stop the wake-up alarm, please press the stop button provided for this purpose in your room.
Couches: on request we will give you an alarm clock with the desired time set.
WIFI / Internet / Printer
Password available with the passport, boarding pass or by mobile phone registration. For assistance you find more information on the following link:
