Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,017,326 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in February (+16.4% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 14.0% and transfer passengers increased by 21.8%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.6% last February, is at 32.1% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 99.2% of the 2019 level.

In February, flight movements increased by 12.4% to 17,764 versus previous year. Flight movements were 90.2% of the 2019 level. 

Please note there was an additional business day in February 2024 (leap year).

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in February was CHF 41.9m (+9.9% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 13.8% for airside and 5.6% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review:

• 368,191 at Florianópolis Airport (+15.5% vs. previous year)
• 224,974 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (-2.5% vs. previous year)
• 228,710 at Antofagasta Airport (+30.0 % vs. previous year)
• 165,462 at Iquique Airport (+13.4% vs. previous year)
