The Board of Directors
The Board of Directors defines the overarching strategy and is the most senior supervisory body at the company. It comprises eight members.
Josef Felder
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Josef Felder has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2017 and Chairman since 2023. A Swiss citizen born in 1961, he was the CEO of Zurich Airport Ltd. and Flughafen-Immobilien-Gesellschaft (FIG) between 1998 and 2008. Since 2009, Josef Felder has been a member of the board of directors at various companies, including Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at AMAG Group.
Beat Schwab
Member of the Board of Directors
Beat Schwab has been a member of the Board of Directors since May 2025, delegated by the Canton of Zurich. A Swiss citizen born in 1966, he has held several prominent positions, including Global Head of Real Estate in Asset Management at Credit Suisse, CEO of Wincasa AG, and a member of the Executive Board of ISS Schweiz AG. Today, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the publicly listed real estate company Zug Estates AG. He is also a real estate entrepreneur, start-up investor, and an active member of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of Raiffeisen Switzerland and the Foundation for Art, Culture and History (SKKG), among others.
Beatrix Frey-Eigenmann
Member of the Board of Directors
Beatrix Frey-Eigenmann has been a member of the Board of Directors since May 2023, delegated by the Canton of Zurich. A Swiss citizen born in 1966, she is a partner and member of the Executive Board of Federas Beratung AG. She is also a member of various boards of directors and boards of trustees, including Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Spital Männedorf and President of the Board of Trustees of the Hohenegg Stiftung, which operates the Hohenegg private clinic.
Carmen Walker Späh
Member of the Board of Directors
Carmen Walker Späh has been a member of the Board of Directors since July 2015, delegated by the Canton of Zurich. A Swiss citizen born in 1958, she is the Government Councillor and Head of Zurich's Department of Economic Affairs for the Canton of Zurich.
Claudia Pletscher
Member of the Board of Directors
Claudia Pletscher was elected as a member of the Board of Directors in 2023 and is also the Vice-Chairwoman. A Swiss citizen and born in 1974, she is the founder of fineminds and from 2014 until 2021 worked as Head of Development and Innovation at Swiss Post. Previously, Claudia Pletscher held a number of management positions at IBM. She is currently a member of the board of directors and an advisor of various companies, including the Metall Zug Group.
Corine Mauch
Member of the Board of Directors
Corine Mauch has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2011. A Swiss citizen born in 1960, she has been the Mayor of Zurich since 2009.
Stefan Paul
Member of the Board of Directors
Stefan Paul has been a member of the Board of Directors since mid-April 2026. The Swiss-German dual national, born in 1969, has served as CEO of Kühne+Nagel International AG since 2022. Prior to this, he was a member of the Executive Board for nine years, where he was responsible for overland transport activities and sales. Until 2013, he held various leadership positions at DHL in Germany, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. He also serves on the boards of several international business organisations, including the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce and the International Business Leaders Advisory Council (IBLAC) of the City of Shanghai. He does not hold any other external mandates and is considered independent.
Box Committee:
Stefan Paul was elected by the General Meeting as a member of the Nomination & Compensation Committee (NCC). He is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Stephan Gemkow
Member of the Board of Directors
Stephan Gemkow has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2017. A German citizen born in 1960, from 2006 until 2012 he was a member of the Executive Board of the Lufthansa Group and from 2012 until 2019 he was Chairman of the Board of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH. He currently sits on various supervisory boards, including those of Airbus and Amadeus.
Britta Müller-Ganz
General Secretary
Britta Müller-Ganz has been General Secretary since 1 February 2021, and reports directly to the Board of Directors in this role. A Swiss citizen born in 1965, she supports the Board of Directors and its Committees in matter of Corporate Governance, organises the General Meeting of Shareholders and maintains the share register. As a company lawyer with admission to the bar, she has worked in Legal Services at Zurich Airport Ltd. since 2004.
