The Department Heads
The Department Heads are representatives of the six divisions. The company comprises six divisions: Aviation, Commercial, International, Real Estate and Finance & Services and People & Communications.
All tasks required to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality flight operations come together in this division. These include all passenger services in the departure, arrival and transfer areas, the coordination of stand allocation and aircraft movements on the aprons, as well as safety and security. Smooth operations are ensured by involving all partners in a central steering body – the Airport Steering Committee.
In addition, the division is responsible for all freight-related activities and, together with Aviation Development & Statistics, serves as the interface to customers and airlines.
The Aviation division is also responsible for the operation, planning, supply, disposal and maintenance of all civil engineering facilities across the 800-hectare airport site. Furthermore, it ensures demand-oriented development of aviation infrastructure and procedural processes and manages all aspects of noise management and community protection.
