Your parking options if you are picking up passengers at the airport.

A11 motorway: night-time closures between Kloten and the airport

From 1 to 19 December 2025, the railway bridge over the A11 motorway will be widened. This work will require night-time closures and traffic will be diverted.
 
The closures will be from Sunday evening until Friday morning as follows:

  • 1 to 5 December 2025: Night-time full closure in the direction of the airport, from 11:00 to 05:00
  • 7 to 12 December 2025: Night-time full closure in the direction of Zurich, from 11:00 to05:00
  • 14 to 19 December 2025: Night-time full closure in the direction of the airport or Zurich, from 11:00 to 05:00 (depending on construction progress).

The corresponding diversions will be signposted. 

If you are picking someone up from the airport

Arrival 1 and 2

You can park your car for short time in the “Arrival” curbside lane to pick up passengers directly from the arrival hall. Please see below for fee details.

For longer stays we recommend using parking P1 for Arrival 1 and parking P2 for Arrival 2.

 

Fees for short-term parking

Please note that the passage through the arrival zones 1 and 2 is always subject to charges.

For more than two entries within two hours, an additional fee of CHF 50.- plus CHF 1.-/min will be charged.
