Experience culinary variety: FOOD ZURICH at Zurich Airport

Summary

From September 7 to 17, Zurich Airport will be part of FOOD ZURICH for the second time. Over the course of eleven days, a variety of culinary formats will take place at various locations in the Circle and Airport Shopping. The Circle Food Market, where delicacies from the region can be discovered, will conclude the event.

Whether Lebanese delicacies in the Babel restaurant, an Italian tavolata at l'Oro di Napoli or a tour de vin through the Circle with international wine from Mövenpick - there is something for every taste. On the Observation Deck B, visitors can enjoy the very special aviation atmosphere at the Sunset Dinner.

Local delicacies

During FOOD ZURICH, visitors will not only be able to experience the flavors of distant countries, but also regional specialties. In the Zoom restaurant, there will be a variety of cheeses from Jumi cheese to taste, combined with matching beer from the St. Laurentius brewery in Bülach. The 5-course dinner at Rooftop Restaurant Sablier is inspired by the flavors of the city of Zurich: as part of FOOD ZURICH, a menu made especially from ingredients from the city of Zurich and its surroundings will be served on two evenings. Visitors can learn more about a local and sustainable approach to food during a guided tour through the world of bio local, where they will find a variety of tasty treats as well as tips for everyday life.

Workshops for young and old

Those who want to get active themselves can benefit from the expertise of the experts at various workshops. For example, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of sushi at Negishi, where they can enjoy the homemade sushi together afterwards. Bar Iris offers a cocktail workshop, and the recipes can be taken home afterwards. There is also something for the youngest guests to experience: At Pret A Manger, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can create their own sandwich from various ingredients.

Food Market in the Circle alleys

The starting point for visitors is the Circle main square, which will be suitably decorated for the festival. On September 17, the alleys in the Circle will also be transformed into a food market. At over 35 market stalls, visitors can get to know the delicacies of small producers from the region. Their sustainably produced products can be tasted and purchased on site. The owners of the businesses, most of whom will be on site during the Food Market, will provide visitors with first-hand product information.
