Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,194,072 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in December (+15.2% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 16.9% and transfer passengers increased by 11.7%. The transfer rate, which was at 32.1% last December, is at 31.1% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 94.1% of the 2019 level.

In December, flight movements increased by 7.4% to 18,888 versus previous year. Flight movements were 93.5% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in December was CHF 54.9m (+10.9% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 12.0% for airside and 9.6% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 392,126 at Florianópolis Airport (+8.5% vs. previous year)
• 281,634 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+3.4% vs. previous year) 
• 217,406 at Antofagasta Airport (+16.3% vs. previous year)
• 139,984 at Iquique Airport (-5.6% vs. previous year)
