Traffic Figures Zurich 

1,959,580 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in January (+13.4% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 11.5% and transfer passengers increased by 17.6%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.8% last January, is at 32.0% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 91.8% of the 2019 level.

In January, flight movements increased by 8.4% to 18’439 versus previous year. Flight movements were 85.1% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in January was CHF 42.7m (+4.3% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 6.7% for airside and 1.9% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 459,031 at Florianópolis Airport (+10.1% vs. previous year)
• 279,305 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (-4.0% vs. previous year)
• 242,068 at Antofagasta Airport (+21.4 % vs. previous year)
• 177,750 at Iquique Airport (+8.3% vs. previous year)
