Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,532,918 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in May (+30.5% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 27.4% and transfer passengers increased by 40.3%. The transfer rate, which was at 26.4% last May, is at 28.3% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 93.2% of the 2019 level.

In May, flight movements increased by 9.3% to 22,109 versus previous year. Flight movements were 90.5% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in May was CHF 53.5m (+20.0% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 27.1% for airside and 11.9% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 293,618 at Florianópolis Airport (+16.0% vs. previous year)
• 294,375 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+28.7% vs. previous year)
• 187,110 at Antofagasta Airport (+15.2% vs. previous year)
• 153,322 at Iquique Airport (+11.4% vs. previous year)
