Traffic Figures Zurich 

2,867,694 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in October (+18.6% vs. previous year). The number of local passengers increased by 18.0% and transfer passengers increased by 21.0%. The transfer rate, which was at 26.6% last October, is at 27.1% in the month under review. Passenger numbers were 99.9% of the 2019 level. 

In October, flight movements increased by 11.5% to 23,400 versus previous year. Flight movements were 97.3% of the 2019 level.

Commercial Activities Zurich

Total turnover in October was CHF 55.5m (+11.3% vs. previous year). The increase divides into 17.7% for airside and 3.0% for landside.

Traffic Figures International

At the international airports, the passenger count was as follows for the month under review: 

• 327,706 at Florianópolis Airport (+14.4% vs. previous year)
• 284,826 at Vitória/Macaé Airports (+8.2% vs. previous year)
• 206,334 at Antofagasta Airport (+19.2% vs. previous year)
• 144,840 at Iquique Airport (+2.3% vs. previous year)
