Book nowA11 motorway: night-time closures between Kloten and the airport
From 1 to 19 December 2025, the railway bridge over the A11 motorway will be widened. This work will require night-time closures and traffic will be diverted.
The closures will be from Sunday evening until Friday morning as follows:
- 1 to 5 December 2025: Night-time full closure in the direction of the airport, from 11:00 to 05:00
- 7 to 12 December 2025: Night-time full closure in the direction of Zurich, from 11:00 to05:00
- 14 to 19 December 2025: Night-time full closure in the direction of the airport or Zurich, from 11:00 to 05:00 (depending on construction progress).
The corresponding diversions will be signposted.

For passengers that don't want to book their parking online, the following car parks are available on site:
- P1 - Terminal (directly connected to Terminal 1)
- P2 - Terminal (directly connected to Terminal 2)
- P3 - Terminal (directly connected to Check-in 3)
- P6 - Terminal (four minutes walk to the terminals)
- P6 - Park & Charge (for your electric vehicle)
Additional parking options are only available with online booking.
- P3 XXL - Terminal (directly at Check-in 3 with extra-wide parking spaces)
- P60 - Outside car park (15 minutes walk to the terminal)
- P65 - Outside car park (with a free shuttle bus, only 5–7 minutes to the airport)
